SERVICE — DESIGN

Design that survives contact with content.

Web design and development, handled by one team

A layout that only works with placeholder copy is not finished. Neither is one that falls apart at 320px, or when a product name runs to four words. As a web design and development company in Mumbai we keep both halves in one room, because most of what goes wrong in a handover is a design decision nobody costed.

Part of Build and Transform — every engagement starts with an audit

Design and engineering are the same conversation

The traditional split (design it, hand it over, build it) creates a category of problem that only shows up once it is expensive.

A typographic scale that needs six font weights. A hover interaction with no touch equivalent. A hero that assumes the headline is always five words. None of these are visible in a static mockup, and all of them become somebody's problem later. We design and build in the same cycles, so a decision that will not survive implementation gets found in the week it was made, not the month it ships.

What we build

Editorial visual design

Typography, layout, and hierarchy built around your brand, not a template someone else bought. The kind of restraint that still reads well in three years, which mostly means fewer decisions made more deliberately.

Design systems

Tokens, components, and documented rules so the tenth page belongs with the first, and your team can add an eleventh without asking us. Sized to the project: a five-page site does not need a component library.

Motion

Movement with a job: signalling hierarchy, smoothing state changes, rewarding attention. Built to degrade properly under reduced-motion preferences, which is both an accessibility requirement and a decent test of whether the motion was load-bearing.

Accessibility as a design constraint

Colour contrast, focus states, tap targets, and keyboard order decided while things are being designed. Treating accessibility as a QA pass at the end is how sites end up legally adequate and unpleasant to use.

Responsive from the real content out

We design against your real copy and images at several widths, not one desktop mockup and an assumption. Long product names, missing photos, and empty states are part of the design, not exceptions to it.

Content structure

What each page needs to say and in what order, which is design work whoever owns the document. Frequently the most valuable part of a redesign is deciding four existing pages should be one.

How we work on this

001

Start from the content, not the grid

We want the real copy, or a serious draft, before layout begins. Designing around placeholder text produces layouts that quietly demand the copy be a certain length, and that constraint always surfaces at the worst moment.

002

Prototype in the browser early

Type, spacing, and motion get judged where they will live. A typeface that reads well in a design tool at 200% can be unreadable on a mid-range Android at arm's length, and there is no substitute for checking.

003

Pressure-test before signing off

Long words, missing images, empty states, slow connections, keyboard-only navigation, reduced motion. If a design only holds under ideal conditions, it is not done. Finding that before launch is the point of this step.

FAQ

Questions we get asked about this.

Do you design and build, or design only?

Both, and we would rather do both. Design-only engagements are possible, but the handover is where quality leaks. We would want to talk to whoever is building it, and to be straight about which decisions might not survive that conversation.

Do you work from templates?

No. Typography, layout, and motion are built for your brand and your content. That is slower and costs more than a theme. For some projects a good template really is the right call, and we will say so if we think it is yours.

Will we be able to update the site ourselves?

Yes. Anything you should reasonably expect to change (copy, images, listings, rate tables) is yours to edit without a developer. We show you where the lines are during the build, because a CMS that can restructure the entire layout is a mistake waiting to happen.

What do you need from us to start?

A sense of who the site is for and what you want them to do, whatever brand material exists, and access to someone who can make decisions. Copy is what most often holds a project up. If it does not exist yet that is fine, but put it on the plan in week one.
